HA! That was the song my dad used to sing to me EVERY morning when I was in school and it drove me crazy! Now, here I find myself singing this song to my children just to return the favor! Of coarse I don't get the same "I will set you ablaze" looks that my dad got from me. My children beleive it or not enjoy school. This is one of the many things I feel blessed about. That my children have a natural love and drive for school. I know this post is a week late but, what the hay! School started last week and we are getting back into the groove of it all.
Here is the oldest Jade. She is starting 7th grade this year. She has grown up so much. Last year she went to a 6th grade only campus and this year she is mixed in with 8th graders as well. She has to wear a red shirt last year so I think she is sick of wearing these red shirts. Other than that she loves her school and has made plenty of friends already as well as some old ones. They grow up too fast!
Ahh, Autumn Renee. What can I say about her? She marches to the beat of her own drum and I absolutly love that about her. She is starting 6th grade this year and that girl is something else. So smart and she is just one of those kids that gets along with everyone. She has a Beautiful heart.
Shayleigh is starting 1st grade this year. She is learning that it is a lot different than kindergarten. She goes for longer periods of time and she is reading A LOT more.. She is so funny. When I told her that she would be learning to read a lot this year she goes "But, I already know how to read" ahaha! Yes, Yes she does.. She is the one who gives me trouble in the mornings. Not because she doesn't want to go to school, but because everything must be perfect. Her hair,clothes,shoes.. If it's not, there is trouble!
Then there is Victoria. She is in kindergarten this year. She was in a head start last year so she kind of has the hang of the whole school concept. She is going for longer periods of time now though. I love that she has my same Kindergarten teacher. She is loving school and loving her homework (I am sure that wont last)
In a few years Mason will be going to school with the girls, I have no idea what I will do with myself when that happens.
